Hello all.Here is my first post on the new look board and has you can see i'm back down the "Hall"Not a lot came in with it being an American bank holiday,but the arrival of the Travis C5 made up for that Here are the results,more to come as i'm down for the week.thanks for looking.

That looked like a less than settled final approach :shock: if it was my old intructor he would be tempted to put the power in, do a go-aound and slap me on the head during the circuit..(microlight, flexwing, easy to do) ah the fun days :smile:

Was he not yawing back onto the runway axis after accounting for the crosswind in a (presumably) stabilised approach?

Love the C-5 shot on finals :clap: Almost went down to Mildenhall on monday, looks like i missed out :sad:

Normally, if it is a crosswind landing then, as he would apply ride rudder the secondary effect of the yaw is roll, which would have caused the right wing to drop not the left. But can't say for sure, but with the way the fuselage is slewing, would have said pretty stiff right to left (as you look at the picture) wind.
