That looked like a less than settled final approach if it was my old intructor he would be tempted to put the power in, do a go-aound and slap me on the head during the circuit..(microlight, flexwing, easy to do) ah the fun days

Was he not yawing back onto the runway axis after accounting for the crosswind in a (presumably) stabilised approach?

Was he not yawing back onto the runway axis after accounting for the crosswind in a (presumably) stabilised approach?

Normally, if it is a crosswind landing then, as he would apply ride rudder the secondary effect of the yaw is roll, which would have caused the right wing to drop not the left. But can't say for sure, but with the way the fuselage is slewing, would have said pretty stiff right to left (as you look at the picture) wind.
