Revell (Hasegawa) Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker, with Eduard zoom set and Aires exhausts. Finished in the markings of the Ukrainian Air Force demonstration jet that flew at RIAT 97 and 99 (96 as well I think?!)

Airfix 1/48 SAAB Viggen... no weapon stores.. This is just more of a semi complete build. I had fun with it. First time trying my hand at some splinter camo. Pardon some dust.

Hello all,

Firstly, many thanks to all those of you who took the time to enter. The results were outstanding and made the selection process all the more challenging.

Second, an honourable mention goes to Shaun who organised this GB and produced a couple of amazing entries. The reason he only gets an honourable mention, and I'm not sure if I am supposed to mention this, is that he requested not to be entered in to the judging.

Anyway, on to the winners! After much musing, deliberation and cogitation we have arrived at the following top 3. Well done to all and PM me you address so that we can send out the prizes.

1st - Mirage 2000B - Mr Flibble - Mach 3 FRIAT
2nd - TF-104G - FGR2 - Mach 2 FRIAT
3rd - Hawk T1 - Deacon - Mach 1 FRIAT

Fumbles, sorry your Viggen missed out. It looked great and is one of my favourite aircraft - it really was a tough call. PM and I will send you a small prize too.

Shaun - well done again and thank you for organising this. PM or email me if you get the chance as you will also win summat, like it or not!

Cheers,

Rob.

Nice surprise, really didn't expect to do so well against so many top notch builds. Really chuffed seeing it's only my second attempt with an airbrush :)
