Shuttleworth's Pretty Poli

After much spannering and sticking bits of wood to other bits of wood and various bodily parts, Old Warden's Polikarpov Po-2 is ready to join the airshow fleet. While the airframe is a postwar trainer variant, it is painted up as a WWII night bomber version, with rear facing machine gun tacked on to finish it off. Don't expect Gladiator style aerobatics - this is a quite a gentle performer.

If you want a nice topside you'll just have to come to Old Warden and take one yourself...

Not so sure about Damien's description of the restoration techniques though.... :grin: :grin: almost sounds like a daytime D.I.Y. show :lol:
