Greek open days and base visits

Post by rf104g »

This week we visited several bases in Greece during the famous November open days.
We also had a visit at the navy and army. The weather was good on the first day bud sadly it deteriorated during the following days. Still we had a good time and saw more then enough planes.

Great stuff  as Dunk says you can never tire of the Greeks. Only thing is the Camo hangar in the A7 shot distracts the shot, well actually the a/c blends into it making it hard to see in all it's glory. Nonetheless great stuff, anymore?

when will stop this kind of comments? ...I don't say it was right what happened then, but after that incident spotters from around the world have shot great and rare stuff with H.A.F's authorization! ...so I think comments like this are at least unfair...

Tongue 'n' cheek mate, don't think it was meant as a dig. However have the Greek authorities relaxed a bit over the last couple of years, as I was in Zante a couple of years ago and toyed with going over to Andravida for a day but played safe and didn't bother.
