Spangdahlem 01/12/08: 75th FS A-10's!

Post by Olli »

Hi my friends,
What a day at Spang :yahoo:
Yesterday we went to Spang to catch the arrival of 2 A-10 of the 75th FS.
I do not want to bother you with my bla bla, I just want to let the pictures speaking...
Here we go, first some locals...
344 was the first F-16C returning from its mission

829 during an overshoot

two local A-10's doing a double break

and then my favourites of the day :yahoo: , first AF78 679/FT of the 75th FS
Image
and No.2 which was AF79 138/FT :yahoo:

That's it for the moment my friends...

Those A-10s look the dog's dangly bits in those marks and with the shark's mouth, Olli!

Are they on loan to the 81st while some of their own get upgraded?

I agree Karleen, the teeth do look good and how clean do they look?? Especially compared to the first two '16's. They look like Jelly has gone mad with the weathering!!

Assuming the US version is the same as others, it absorbs/scatters some radiation and reduces the aircrafts signature....just a little.

Not sold in B&Q. Regards, Ian
