Great display despite the low cloud and poor light but nice to see the Albatross & RE.8 flying around the Shuttleworth airfield. The Albatross sounding like an old tractor and the RE.8 with it 2 exhaust looking like one, what a pity after Duxford they are to be grounded. Also nice to see the Miles aircraft formation and Comper Swift (some time since I last saw it)....more as usual on my page.

Nice set - I had hoped that the Albatross and RE.8 would be around for an evening display before being consigned to static.

Apparently the commentator at Duxford today said Shuttleworth were hoping to fly the RE.8 & Albatross at the next show, Shuttleworth Uncovered 22.09.12.
