What a great insight. Glad to see our SHars aren't sold for scrap like the GRs.

When were these taken? I saw the T.4 in bits on a truck recently

Kenny are you sure that's the same T.4? If you look at the nose of the aircraft in your shot it has black tape (as a square) near the ejection seat label below the front canopy and the number '71' is missing. No black tape on the Harrier at Predannack which is marked as '71'!

The trip was on 21 September 2012.

They have a hanger of 10 Sea Harriers all in immaculate condition, and the best part is they all run too apparently...

the old SHAR's are taxied around the dummy deck site for groundcrew carrier a/c & operations handling training, some of the instructors drive them, the throttles are restricted to prevent accidental/unwanted excess power settings.

Above T4 was XW271?? and aparanly it was on its way to Bentwater?!
Yeap. SFDO often ground taxi the SHAR and some times... Even at night!!!! :rock:
