Have seen that before, Gilze 2010. Somehow it became a bit of boring (but that could also be because the commentators spouted out all their same "knowledge" about the type for every display on both days)

I personally don't think the Gripens display is THAT great. It's okay, don't get me wrong, but I think I will get pretty bored when I see three to be honest.

Anyone know if it's likely there will be a Super Hornet display at RIAT this year? I think the Swiss are sending one to Yeovilton or Waddington? I don't know which countries have an F18 demo?? The questions, the questions...

Very unlikely I would say. Spain, Switzerland, Finland, the US, Canada and Boeing do display the Hornet. Out of these the only chance may be a Finish one...and that definitely won`t be a Super Bug...

Legacy Hornet (for Yeovilton)

In Europe: Switserland, Finland, don't know if the Spanish is around this year. Outside of Europe I can only think of Australia, The US has sequestrated everything out.

What a shame about it only displaying on the sunday as i am only going on the saturday. I wonder if they will add the Saturday unless it has another display that day
How do we know that the Mig 29 will be in the flying display? It doesn't specify, and the fact that it says "one" suggests it may be for the static display , as they usually bring a spare for the flying display, but who knows?

Agreed, at this stage we shouldn't jump to conclusions about participation or dates.
Thanks for the info Ledhead. It would be a cracking addition if it were for both days. The way things are going i honestly think it might even beat last years RIAT with still potential fast jets to be confirmed! Well done again RIAT. If the news is true of course!

Hmm. You also confirmed the Viggen for Waddington, Yeovilton and RIAT some weeks ago - we're still waiting. In addition, you've claimed the Sea Vixen will be attending. If this all comes together, it would be fantastic. But I think we should be cautious.
