RAF Cosford highlights UPDATED

Post by funkygib »

I was disappointed to find a load of kids crawling all over the Harrier in its hide on arrival but once the crowds dispersed to see the Typhoon display it was open season to take some images that I am pleased with.
Thanks to the staff who moved out of the way and shifted the steps out of sight for me also!
A good show in the whole, on this occasion I decided to take a back seat from the display photography and enjoy the displays for a change with the odd exception
The MERT display was pretty impressive with the Chinook beating up the runway to medevac the casualties at low level, full chat with air support provided by none other than HRH Capt. Wales on station in the Apache. :worship:
:king: Prince Harry then went into the Apache display and it was only then that the crowd was advised who was in the front seat.
Well done Cosford a good day was had by me at least...

Harrier in the hide is such a good idea. It looks superb.

The GR.3 was great, got there extra early so I could avoid the people! You done well though, I like your photo from low down, why didn't I think of that?

Hope you don't mind me posting this...

Just added my other hide images, I kept getting drawn back to it throughout the day.

Very nice. Not surprised you kept being drawn to the Harrier hide, that was a great static display
