Use Bing-Maps, higher resolution!

If you drive your car to the sports center, you see above it a horse carousel. People use it to get access to the fence near the tower.

But just follow the streets, it is everything visible on this map, where the streets are! But maybe changes due to Airpower!

KC-10 now listed as flying in saturday and f-18 too so maybe we get some flypasts at least!? also the arrival list (great piece of information with arrival and training times) shows Typhoons from UK, Italy and Spain to fly in tomorrow!

 What a bizarre year this is turning out to be on the display front, never heard of a team cancelling the day before an event on the basis of the support a/c going u/s?!

Shortly after 11 clock arrived today the legendary Frecce Tricolori in Zeltweg. The largest aerobatic team in the world is one of the crowd pullers of AIRPOWER13 - and began their day at Zeltweg same with a reconnaissance flight. Spotters can look forward to the afternoon: at 15.20 clock the official rehearsal of ten Aermacchi MB-339 PAN is to take place.

The bad news of the day: The Patrouille de France, which is celebrating its 60th Celebrates birthday, had to cancel their appearance at the AIRPOWER13 short term and stay in Porto-Vecchio (Corsica). The PAF should have arrived by 12 clock in Zeltweg today, a technical defect of her C-160 Transall transport aircraft made its plans but short a spanner in the works. "We are extremely disappointed," said Squadron Leader Commander Raphael Nal "because we pilots were very happy about our appearance in Zeltweg. We tried everything to save our appearance, but it is logistically impossible. Please tell our fans that I am very sorry to us. We wish the AIRPOWER13 much success! Next time we will be there again. Austrian version of the programme shows the P-38 taken off the list, CT-133 flying as penultimate item both days and Swiss Hornet doing a solo Saturday only!

The Turkish Stars are closing the show today.

Interesting choice of music during the Aguila display!

Surprised to see both the special German Navy Orion and Lynx at Zeltweg rather than Wittmund. Too much Red Bull nonsense this year, a shadow of the might have previous Airpowers.

Not more Red Bull nonsense than in previous years imho and at least they fly formations rather than solo displays for every aircraft in their fleet. where was the P-38??weather was ok today. maybe a standard item but, how awesome was that Dutch Falcon today low and dynamic in front of the hills! airpower demo was the same as always but still nice photo opportunities, EF duo was gerat to see as well. does anyone know whats up with the turkish stars as they only flew with 6 instead of 8 jets and also skipped the awaited topside formation flyby!?!

gripen "dump and burn" was impressive as well but I did not get a shot unfortunately...

Show is/was average to be honest. Weather does the rest, so I refused to go today, although I only live 50kms from it. It was far away from being that much interesting like in previous years.

A 'few' at 6000ft and broken at 22,0000 isn't going to stop anything!! But one day is enough and looking at those crowds it will be horrendous. Was nowhere near that amount at 1000 yesterday.

Just got back to Vienna after a brilliant day at Zeltweg.

Yes, some of the cancellations were disappointing, and yes, the crowds were absolutely ridiculous, but the sun stayed out for most of the day and the flying was superb. The Austrian Air Force/Army set pieces were worth going for alone. The typhoon pair were great!

The red bull stuff did get a bit tiresome, but it led to some interesting formations (B25, corsair and 2 alphajets....)

My first AirPower, and if future events are anything like it, I'll be back! Especially for the scenery. Surprised they don't charge a few euros...could make a killing.

So did the Swiss F-18 make it even if just for static?

Oh and I watched some of the show via the live stream and I thought it looked great, beautiful landscape and the weather looked a lot better than what I have experienced the last few years at UK shows.

Yes, came in for static. ATM there is no SwissAF F-18 display.
