First time I saw the mighty Blackbird flying, as a 15 year old, how did I know it wasn't part of the routine. Pulling rather a sharp turn for the big beast, starving the engines of a bit of fuel, which then lit as the afterburners kicked in, belching flames out of its exhausts.

Watching that 747 film reminds me of the A380 display at the last Filton Families Day. He almost managed to keep it within the confines of the airfield it seemed - a really slow, tight display - I was well impressed...

I wasn't at this, but I would love to see this!! Can't believe the SA 747 was ten years ago, 2003 doesn't seem that long ago, but it really was.

SU35 at MAKS this year. Simply unbelievable manoeuvres that I thought the laws of physics were meant to stop. I saw a few videos on YouTube but I still couldn't quite believe what I was seeing. RIAT if you're reading, hint hint
