Hello everyone,

Due to bad met conditions, the Axalp air demo of today and tomorrow had been cancelled. Here are some pictures of the training.

many thanks, the Gripens only shoot at the A target, too far for me as I used a 300mm lens (some with the 1.4 x converter)

I'm curious about the equipment used to capture these beautiful images. I was at Axalp several times, but a 300mm +1.4 X converter seems to me very little to get shots so close ...

I used a Nikon D300 with a crop factor of 1.5 x and I was on the south side where the swiss pilots are authorized to pass over the ridge at min 20 m/gnd....

Thank you, understand. I have always taken pictures from the "public" side.

Sorry to break your heart but there will be no AXALP 2014 due to the AIR 14 airshows at Payerne on August 30th-31st and September 6th-7th.

Jack.
