The A380 shots do it for me, would be nice to get a ground perspective of these!

Also, I think a lot of us on here would like to know how you got the air to ground/air shots, can you get a helicopter flight to get these?

Stunning pictures Mark. I did the same thing back in March but the weather wasn't that good and not much traffic at the time. Were all these taken on the same flight or more than one flight ? It's a great experience though isn't it. Well done. Thanks for sharing.

They were taken over two flights in the same day, two hours in the morning and two and a bit hours in the afternoon , we only stopped for 10 minutes to fuel the helicopter up and a quick toilet/rest break when there was a quiet period at LAX. I got lucky with the weather but I had a reserve day either side of the flight sorted just in case. I also had a list of what I wanted to get and managed to get around 90% of what I was after, so it helped having a game-plan with a list of arrivals/departures along with approximate timings. The Raytheon 727 was pure luck though!

Thanks for all the comments, it was a rather memorable experience.
