Muroc Air Force Base

Post by Kenny »

I had the opportunity to visit Edwards AFB last week. Here's what I saw.

They were both on site January last year in the NASA facility when we visited, we weren't allowed near them unfortunately (one was parked with the F-15STOL/MTD). Both are in a sorry state and NASA didn't want pictures of them being published (at least that was the reason we were told we couldn't see them when we asked). The closest I got was that I could see the tail of one!

They're still parked where they are on Google Earth...... 34°57'13.83"N 117°53'2.59"W and 34°57'31.93"N 117°52'59.94"W

Cracking set of shots Kenny, Edwards is my favourite place!
