Not the sexiest flying device but A2A by sfw

Post by sfw »

A few days ago I had the opportunity to photograph A2A the British Taylorcraft Auster MkV. The light was very nice and the results of this few minutes session you have below.

Absolutely fantastic photos you have there, top marks, number 2 is stunning with the Oil Seed Rape behind it,

And what's "not sexy" about that? :dunno:

Some excellent shots (No.7 is pick of the bunch for me)- I thought the background more authentic!

O yes it is authentic. Original plan was to have the aircraft surrounded by Oil Seed Rape but either field was too small or airplane was too big ;)

Pure class!i can think of many aircraft less 'sexy' than a cammo Auster and I think you have done extremely well to achieve some contrast between aircraft and ground.
After all that was and is the very reason for displaced pattern camouflage.

Of course you can :) It's small, private field near Konstancin Jeziorna, Poland.
