Great line up. Such a massive shame sywell couldn't delay sold out for 2 days so those that did get paid then could get tickets.

Once they've sold the lot, they've sold the lot, whether it's your payday or not! They ALWAYS said that if they sold out in advance, there would be no sales on the day like previous years. That's fair. If payday was crucial, why not use the June one?

Does anyone know what the display frequency is likely to be? I have tower, bbmf and the reds have they used a common display frequency in previous years?

A few people trying to cash-in on eBay now, presumably having seen the forecast!

If the wind is that strong, how much of the flying display will have to cancel? Presumably all of the WW1 and 1930's contingent will be grounded?

There is a listing on eBay for two adult tickets for £175 with 50% (originally only 10%) going towards the Great North Air Ambulance Service.

The information slip that comes with it is tiny compared to the normal size and it says "With Compliments" meaning that the seller got the tickets for free off the organisers.

Yes, sadly a very abusive individual in emails too. Feel free to make sillly bids on the profiteering tosser's auction.

But "silly bids" would be an abuse of your ebay account. If you won, you'd be negged! Why not go the legitimate way with ebay and try the VeRO program or whatever part of the system is appropriate?

Fair play to the bloke at least its to charity in part

no skin off Sywells nose, they already have the money in the bank for a sell out, dont they?

If Sywell want to cynically insure themselves against the weatger at punters expense, they shouldnt act suprised when punters do the sane imgo

Apparently they've been getting abuse and threats from people unable to buy tickets, and people hoping they have a crash as a result. What a bunch of nutters, what's wrong with some people.

About the only thing I can work out from that pathetic attempt at stringing together an English sentence is that you are really just a troll.

I then noted that a current high bid received yesterday evening was from the same individual. On cancelling this bid it was discovered that he'd bid a maximum of £9999.00. This would appear to be a crass attempt to sabotage the auction for me, and any potential genuine bidder. A sorry state of affairs.

xc weather told me I'd be utterly screwed for the Canadians arriving, and they were right!

In fact, they've been right pretty consistently all season, so I'll trust 'em again. If it all goes wrong, it's not the end of the world!

Just checked eBay for tickets and a pair of adult tickets (link posted in earlier post by myself) went for £266.99.

Completely unbelievably that someone would pay that much.

But at least the buyer donated £133.49 to the Great North Air Ambulance Service, shame it wasn't the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance though.

Had a bit of a reprieve wind-wise; BBC, previously showing 31mph now says 20mph so shouldnt be too bad.

Still no official word on the Lancs (that really is all everyone cares about on the Facebook page) - feel free to read everyone's comments if you fancy some early morning entertainment!

Edit: Been queuing for at least an hour and still havent got within a mile of the entrance. Good job they cap ticket sales!

Lancs looking doubtful for their appearance at Sywell, unfortunately. Wind is picking up.
