Not yet. DanO has the prizes and he'll be posting them out, but he's half way around the world with work at the moment, so I'll wait until he's back home before I draw the names.

Do more people need to step in and support the project? Maybe have additional forum members, who are willing to offer their time?

Would be a shame to let it fizzle out after such a successful 1st year..

Will just be happy to see it return! Perhaps you could ask PeterR to get some interviews done at CAF whilst he is there on their VC10, returning the Canberra(s) to flight etc. Could some of the other UKAR staff help out too, especially since they're located across the country?

Dan, happy to do some more stuff, production if you want? Not as skilled as you, but don't mind pulling stuff together?

Currently working on editing the first feature of the latest programme - I think you'll enjoy it, if your tastes are for historic aircraft... :joystick: :heyhey:

'Display Frequency' Podcast Episode 8

After a lengthy hiatus, UKAR's much-loved Display Frequency returns with a programme of huge interest to anyone with a fondness for First World War aviation. Dan O'Hagan met up with David Bremner, part of the team behind the reproduction build of a Bristol Scout, incorporating a number of original parts from his grandfather's wartime machine. The completed aircraft appeared as a static attraction at July's Military Pageant at the Shuttleworth Collection, and at time of publication, a first flight is reportedly imminent!

'Display Frequency' Podcast Episode 9 - Vulcan XH558 Crisis.

Image

The New Year has brought a fresh crisis at Vulcan To The Sky Trust in Doncaster. Not even a year-and-a-half on from XH558's final flight, the aircraft has been moved from its publicly-accessible hangar and into storage, with the Trust desperately needing £200,000 to enable it to restructure and move forward with sustainability. In this eagerly-awaited special edition of UKAR's popular podcast, Dan O'Hagan sits down for a lengthy conversation with VTTS Chief Executive Robert Pleming to discuss the present and the future, as well as a number of revealing insights into controversial incidents of the project's past.
