Due to operational commitments the Belgian Federal Police are now planning to send one of their Cessna 182s instead of the MD902.

Pity about the MD902, but great to see the Belgians willing to send a replacement and the Cessna will be rare in its own right.

Certainly rarer than the MD-902, even if it is just a Cessna, smart scheme on them too!

Will they be running it up on the night Phil?

While it is just a Cessna, it's a smart one! Nice to see they haven't just pulled out though and are willing to send something else :)

One HS125 that will not be joining the line up at the Night Photoshoot is ZE396. She flew her last flight out to Chester today for disposal and probable scrapping.

Planning to possibly spend the afternoon at Northolt tomorrow, is there a particular time the arrivals begin?

Arrivals could be anytime during the day but normally after lunch.

From previous nightshoots generally Hawk arrives mid-late afternoon but its anyones guess

I would probably go down on the Friday morning when most depart

If anybody needs a shuttle from LHR and back... I have booked a rental car yesterday and get it from Europcar at around 16.30 (Early but I think, I need to go to a supermarket for buying some needful things.) If I should pick up somebody, please send me a private message....

Picking up a rental from LHR at 1630ish?
I wouldnt hang about - from my past bad experiences it could take an hour to get from LHR to Northolt at that time of day...!

good to know Sam!!! I'll keep a beady out for you...

I'll be the miserable looking rotund gentleman, greying beard (new for 2015) and tripping over his tripod... Oh, and with a 'Network Rail' hi-vis vest.

Catch up with you guys later... safe journey etc.

I'll second that Lutz.
I do that journey twice a day. Head straight to Northolt and buy food in the garage.
The ruislip to Heathrow journey took me an hour and 45 minutes this morning as the a40 was closed.
if the a 40 is still closed or something else happens you will be up against it.

Not being alarmist just a friendly tip from a local ;0)

Cheers,
Jeff.
