Asking the same question, does any one know if the photography enclosure is worth it or is it something like the Flypast enclosure at Duxford?

last year the photographer enclosure was just some metal railings in a square i set up right next to it and got as good as a view as anybody else in the togs pen if you like your space and kids not tripping over your bag then its good i would say its not worth the cost, they are asking for the same cost as the ticket for the airshow. But then it could be different this year? its the risk you take

I've sort of liked this somewhat small and unusual show in recent years but didn't go last year due to relying on a weather forecast of poor weather although I understand it wasn't too bad in the afternoon. However, I note they are doing advance ticket sales only this year so I won't be going again. I'm quite happy to pay an extra couple of quid above an advance ticket price on the day but I don't like having to buy in advance only.

Shame the organisers haven't added a jet fighter. A hunter would be ideal! Too many small pissy propeller jobs! The line up is stacked with them.

I agree however they do have a restricted budget. Does Neil McCarthy still own a Hunter as that would've been nice to see. Anyway Chipmunk confirmed flying.

For a fairly small event it isn't bad.

Okay there may be plenty of propelled aircraft annd there's always a chance that the Vulcan may not make it but personally I'm looking forward to seeing some civilian acts that I don't usually see.

There's being critical about an airshow's line-up and then there's been straight up rude. No need for such condescending comments when Throckmorton is run by two people in their spare time to support of a number of worthy charities. If you think you can do a better job, why don't you give it a try..?

I guess theyre trying to avoid a mad rush of people on the day (like Cosford) , hence the pre-sales only.
Not ideal , but there you go.

Hope the Vulcan does make it.
