Yes, finally we got A-10 deployment. It was very short but I was manged to make some shots from inside Powidz Air Base. Grass landing of "regular" av-det as a bonus ;)

Nice set of shots. Like photo 2 and the night shots.

Looking at them, can someone explain to me the reason for what looks like rather large 'dents' in the top of the nose. Different aircraft seem to have different kinds of dents but all in the same position, while other aircraft seem to have perfectly normal nose panels.

Cheers Brian, but I'm not sure we're talking of the same area. I can see the panel covering the re-fuelling boom. I was curious about the 'dents' above the gatling gun just on the tip of the upper nose in front of the stripe marking. The shape and size differs from aircraft to aircraft.

Yes as said , the boom operator missed the refuel area.

Second that thought as think 3 out of the 4 when at LN were old Bentwaters jets I know 992 still had some names on the ladder door from way back then be great see anything if you have the shots Bartek
