Returning to Brize now. I thought I saw someone on Fighter Control mention a QRA launch from Lossiemouth, so we maybe had visitors again? Does anyone know anymore?

Gr.4 did a trans-country dash around 9.30 last night- Lands End to Lincolnshire. Surprised to see it show up on FR24 (Royal Air Maroc on the iPhone App tho!)

Quite a lot more military showing up on the free version these days.

The Turkish Transall is now showing descending over Middleton. There is also a Razor 14 out over the North sea near to the Voyager ZZ330. Any ideas what aircraft type this is?

I don't have the icons. So not sure, but there were 2 Hawks up by the voyager earlier that look like they have made their way back now. Razor 14 seemed to be on its own. It just gave the call sign and no aircraft type or reg. It seems to have dropped from coverage now. As has the Transall which I think went into Leeming.

TARTN41 is up over the North Sea just behind it is a KLM flight to Los Angeles! Have to say, well impressed with the Phoon icons! I wonder if this is a glitch or if there are other icons mapped in,be nice to see what the BoBMF look like on FR24, Canadian lanc VRA was just a 737 icon last year!
Been impressed watching the Piper PA28 icons! Variety! No doubt this will be a good thing following display Phoons if they flash up on the system! Early warning for photographing/filming etc!

Phoons or Hawks playing Yorkshire Dales!

Almost on a daily basis off the North East coast there's refuelling activity and a gamut of Leeming Hawk and Durham Tees Valley FRA Falcon 20 chases going on. I'm turning back into a right little plane spotter again! Hooray!

I'm aware of the recent updates, but what was the very latest update at the weekend all about? I'm not aware of any changes. Thought I got my very first Glider off North Berwick just now,"GCGAZ" It's actually a microlight that is listed to this registration! Just a pity there's not a traditional microlight shape for FR24,but I guess al those shapes etc would slow it down a considerable amount!

Glider currently (21:00) over Halton? Are gliders normally up after dark or is it just a fr24 bug?

Looks like a bug, it has no speed but the altitude is constantly changing.

ZZ334 Voyager just came over Northwich, Cheshire heading North to South en route to Brize. It appeared to have been busy in the North Sea judging by the plotted to track. Not sure if it's related to any exercise or QRA.
