La Ferte Alais - 23 & 24 May - *Pic Heavy*

Post by John_E »

Cracking show last week at La Ferte Alais. Light was tricky at times but the show itself was excellent, non-stop action from midday onwards. Definitely one I'll be doing again.

Not unless the sun was shining from below!! The craziest helicopter display I've seen, makes the Lynx look pedestrian.

Thanks for the comments chaps. It's a great little show with a generally relaxed atmosphere and some cracking food stalls!!

That Bolkow shot is NOT the wrong way up! That display was amazing with that a/c doing things that I did not believe were possible for a helicopter. The manoeuvre that had me gasping started as a tailslide but continued with the a/c rotating about its vertical axis.
Nice pics by the way. It wasn't an easy day for photography.

Cracking set, looks like a top quality airshow with a good variety of aircraft types. Quite like the CL-415/Tracker shot!

Always loved shots from this show... maybe I'll go next year. Lots of great photos too.. thanks for posting! Alize, Paris and Rafael would have been great to see.. We need that Alize to appear in the UK!

Very nice.

Another vote for the CL415/S-2 combo.

Looked like a great show with some nice warbirds there, also nice to see the topside of the 'Monster Tiger' Rafale, well done.
