Hello,
An Anatolian Eagle exercise took place between the 8th and 19th June 2015, held at Konya AB, Turkey. Access was provided during the last three days of the exercise for media and enthusiast coverage.
Each day started similar to that of the Tiger Meet. Everyone was initially positioned to the South-East of the runways. As the day progressed the former station commander (also a keen photographer) mixed things up a little with the aim of getting us closer to the action for whichever runway was in use. We would walk across taxiways, move up and down large lengths of the runway - whatever we needed for the most part to get 'those' shots.
Like the Tiger Meet before it, the event was well managed and Turkish Air Force do not disappoint! Here is a small selection...

My thanks and best regards goes to the base commander, former base commander (what a fun character!), organisers, foreign participants and the Turkish Air Force generally. It was a fantastic experience!
More will be added to my flickr pages over the coming days.
Cheers for looking,
Chris

Superb set. Some very nice images especially number 9, absolutely stunning shot. It must be one of the best images i have seen on here over the years.

A really outstanding set - hard to pick a favourite, but No.4 probably just shades it for me

Thanks for all the positive comments guys, appreciated!
I've been a lucky so and so over the past year, seeing a variety of aircraft types in several different countries - thanks goes to the missus for her understanding of the madness
Cheers,
Chris
