Double vision at Beachy Head

Post by LN Strike Eagle »

Two angles for you from Beachy. First up, my shots from all the angles you've already seen amongst the masses gathered around the memorial (plus a handful from North Weald today), and a rare airing for some of my dad's shots from half a mile further west at the lighthouse.

We've never done Eastbourne before, so armed with very little knowledge of where to go, we thought it would be wise to split up and cover the Vulcan from two angles. I drew the short straw.

The creative juices don't really flow when the weather is this dull, and it couldn't have been parked in a worse position really, absolutely surrounded by clutter, so record shots were the order of the day.

And for sitting through those, here's my dad's Vulcan snaps.

Brilliant set of shots! Particularly like the 3rd and 5th Vulcan shots.

RE North Weald: I know what you mean about the Mig-15 being surrounded by clutter, when I visited a couple of days ago I couldn't get a good photo because there was at least 4 cones along the back.

Brilliant set of shots from both of you and a good idea to split up - my father and I went to the same spot, I did the pictures and he did video.
