If you are going to get there early watch out for rush hour as it can, surprisingly be quiet bad, last time we stayed near Valeta, which was ok. Before we've stopped in Bugiba, coming from there I encountered more traffic. I've also done it on the buses which was ok but would probably be a problem for arrivals and departures

Its Golden Eagles this year :)

"VP-9, better known as the Golden Eagles, is a squadron of Maritime Patrol aircraft normally based at Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, and will fly in on the Friday before the show to join the rest of a varied static display prepared for this year’s airshow."

Any chance of enticing that rather nice Kuwaiti C-17 that's parked up on the main apron at Malta airport for static? Bit of a surprise when we flew in early hours this morning!
