Smaller display venues & the likes of Yeovilton manage to have the Bronco in their flying display , yet RIAT plonks it on static again.
And still no additions to the Friday display.
They perhaps need to, RIAT doesn't and one of those acts that plenty would say are lost on the crowdline at FFD (although I personally wouldn't say that).
Good update, I agree with Sam about not tiring of the A400M display

Umm...what, like 12 months you mean?
Read it properly we've had one in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015! None this year it seems!
I don't get what I've misread
Yeah, you're right Brevet of course. It's just that the aircraft you mention are also cooler than the Bronco too
Come on Chris, thought you were a teacher, makes perfect sense to me.
When was the last time we did NOT have a flying tornado at RIAT ? Ages ago I think you will find (I would have added a friendly smilie but too many have been used already apparently lol)
I got it I got it...phew. Cheque please, sorry everyone, as you were...

Am very happy with that update. Nice to see the A-400 back being thrown about. Also nice to have the Piaggio back as makes a great sound on arrival and departure!!!
Doesn't mention that on the update or 'aircraft in the spotlight' pages , though.
For such a pedant, you could at least learn to spell Skyvan properly as well, and as Russ says is it that critical which unit the Alpha Jets are coming from at this stage, I'm surprised you're interested as they'll only be statics - meh!
Whoopie-doo.....I missed out a letter.....would have been easier if you'd just said that instead of making daft references to Sweden & Norway.
As for the Alpha Jets....if you bothered to read the thread , you'd have seen that my post 'RIAT Air Ops' replied to was in reply to someone wondering why they're down as 'TBC'. ( No , they don't really interest me as I often see QinetiQ's one buzzing around )

I do apologise for trying to apply attempted humour to your attempted humour, I thought it may have skveezed out a chuckle. I take it Mr Sturridge has upset you and made you more grouchy than usual.

Nope.....it was the realisation that I'd have to go to work tonight and endure all the drunken muppits staggering around chanting inane insults & obscenities about England and generally being a pain. And so far , it would appear that I was correct. Oh , and the Council are digging up various sections of road & pavement , thus providing the aforementioned muppits plenty of bollards & plastic barriers to kick over / throw around !

Sent the organisers an email (@http://www.airtattoo.com) asking about Patrouille Suisse this hour, and just received this as a reply.
Thank you for your enquiry.
Confirmation of Patrouille Suisse attendance is entirely in the team’s hands. I would suggest keeping an eye on their social media accounts for the most up to date information.

Quite a few significant cancellations there - was looking forward to the HH-101A and Super Cub.
