G'day from Australia,
this is my first post to this forum, so I hope that I've correctly uploaded my images.
These images are from a recent fly-in at Echuca which is located in northern Victoria, Australia. The Antique Aeroplane Association always put on a great display of aircraft (sadly their structured airshow is no longer) and this year was no different. All images were taken with a combination of Canon 40D / 6D / 17-40L / 100-400L. Thanks for viewing.
I had planned to visit London this year and attend Duxford Flying Legends and / or RIAT but it all fell through. It looks as though next year is more likely and, from what I understand, the two airshows are unlikely to be held on the same weekend because of the absence of Farnborough.

Great thread! Australia looks like it has an amazing warbird scene. Liking the P-40 and that Bird Dog!

Thanks for posting something a little different, I think I speak for us all when I say give us more from Down Under, it's the only sunshine we'll get.

Could not agree more! Great to see some of the warbirds and classics that you have in Oz.

This is a really interesting thread, thanks George.
And yes, Legends and RIAT only tend to clash in Farnborough years. I hope you make it over.

Thanks for your kind comments and I will be definitely attending the 2017 Duxford FL Show. I've attached a few more images from the fly-in, some of which are statics because it wasn't an airshow, just a get-together. You'll notice that it's a fairly laid-back affair, with few restrictions on where one can roam on the airfield. The general idea is to keep away from the runway and flight strip.
