East Kirkby Airshow 2016
Re: East Kirkby Airshow 2016
Tbh I thought this was quite poor this year, £20 to get in plus a £10 landing fee. Doubt I'll go again.

Just for our feedback what did you think was poor? The acts were all advertised beforehand and the price was advertised with the option to save money by pre-buying tickets. It's not a huge show that will please everyone and we don't go in for the fast jets as it doesn't suit the layout or feel of the site.

Got to disagree really, Ive seen jets display at Old Warden, so no reason why they shouldn't at E Kirkby. Don't get me wrong I don't wish to knock it, or the organisers but I just thought it was all bit mundane.

I don't doubt they can display at E Kirkby, what I meant was we choose not to book them as we prefer to keep it to prop aircraft, I guess that's why it has a similar feel each year. We feel this compliments the history at EK. Thanks for your feedback, I hope one day we can lure you back!

never mind that, what about my pictures
Re: East Kirkby Airshow 2016
Enjoyed your pictures, fine nose detail in the first with reflections and like the Hurricane lighting picking up the fabric contours.
As for the show itself, I really wished i lived closer to enjoy the flying at this location and soak up the atmosphere.

Made me chuckle! Great set and exposure is bang on. Good skills. Would love to go to an event like this with these aircraft
