Nice selection, I really do like El Centro Airshow it's great. It's also a superb spotter base on non show days - during the winter it serves as the Blue Angels training camp and many units deploy there for winter training in the desert, including the British.
I've seen Lemoore and Oceana Super Bugs, Canadian Bugs, Goshawks, USMC Stallions - Huey -Cobra - Bugs, RAF Chinook and AAC Apache.
Then 2 miles down the road is Imperial Airport that has a hot refuel contract with the USMC for Yuma and Miramar assets (Osprey, Stallion, Cobra, Huey).
It's brilliant, next years show also has Tucson Airshow the following weekend at DM so a road trip from LA to Phoenix with the shows and a bit of spotting/museums (Yuma, Luke, Williams, Tucson, DM, Boneyard, Gila Bend, Pima, March, Chino, Palm Springs) in between!

An excellent set and yet another show to add to the "Bucket List". Too many shows and not enough time...

Thanks for the comments and I would confirm your view that SW USA is an aircraft enthusiasts goldmine. On my trip In 12 days managed 2 air shows (and could have managed 3 easily), 2 days at Red Flag and 2 days at Rainbow Canyon.
I have been to the DM show once and a great show but facing into the sun virtually all day hence photos are difficult but outside is possible.
