The "Shipping And Airlines" DH90 Dragonfly and TG Aviation's Boeing Stearman will both be making the long trip up from Kent.

Can't seem to find any mention of that on the shows FB page or website?

Sounds like we are going to get a Mig-15 beach "shoot up" & a P-51 "intercept" scenario instead - can't let the pyro go to waste ... :P

Seems the road to the mound is subject to road closure on Saturday and Sunday. Anyone know what time this takes effect? Alternative parking arrangements for those interested in only going to the mound?

Disappointed that the Lancaster won't be appearing again this Year due to the engine situation, haven't seen this old girl since 2014 when she was flying with the Canadian Lancaster.

Let's hope we see her back up next year during the RAF's 100 Anniversary Celebrations.

The quotes attributed to the organiser here come across as unprofessional:

Typical Daily Record, This may be the reason I never read newspapers much these days, over priced pieces of CRAP, written by clueless moronic journalists who have no idea what they're talking/ writing about.

Looking forward to going, unfortunately only going tomorrow, can't make Sunday unfortunately for the Reds but will see their FlyPast on Saturday. The Navy cancellation is beyond the control of the organisers.

As far as I'm lead to believe it will be Saturday morning for shutting the whole road, not sure what time though ? Anyway I read the article on Navy pulling out,

but would take every word with a pinch of salt from the Daily #### McG

Dougie,

Cheers for the info.

I agree that there is a lot of hyperbole in the article. Just felt the quotes about finances shouldn't have been made.

Hi all, am attending Ayr Low Green for the Scottish Airshow tomorrow and have a small question, unfortunately I won't be able to get to Prestwick Airport for arrivals and departures so I wondered what is the best way to get the IDs/Serials/Registrations of the Aircraft actually performing the displays on Saturday as I won't be able to see the spare Aircraft at Prestwick. And I won't be there on Sunday as I'm only on a day trip.

I can understand the frustration at this last minute withdrawal.

Thank god we've an air force!
