Spitfires, Hurricanes and Yaks

Post by Jakub.Zurek »

Very enjoyable day at Duxford on Saturday, with an amazing variety of warbirds. Nowhere else will you see a P-40C doing an eight point roll or a 1930’s Hawker Fury doing loops as well as Spitfires I to XVIII, Yaks, Hurricanes, Mustangs etc.
Honestly, probably the best airshow I have attended this year.

Nice set, but shot 17 is the stand out for me

Some great images there. The Hurricane MkIIB curving around to land is a peach.

Have to say I agree with you, easily one of the best airshows' I've been to this year. Zero filler.

An outstanding set. So sharp at such a slow shutter speed. I wish that my ground-to-air technique were as good as yours.
Cheers,

Excellent set of images, Numbers 12 & 17 would be my pick as the shots that stand out.
