Agreed about the aircraft outlines - a bit tacky. As for the design I suggested, this was kept simple (and hopefully classy) to enable sales at events other than the night-shoots (such as Families Days etc) - whether to go with that or with a specific night-shoot design would depend on projected production volumes and costings.

Nah no naff aircraft outlines - woolly and black emblazoned with 'Northolt Nightshooter' (no number as you can sell them at any subsequent event).

Mmm, the more I think about it you're probably right...less is more as they say....

I did find this too https://www.banana-moon-clothing.co.uk/ ... nd-beanies not checked any prices tho'.

Yes, although I would suggest an RBF Tag/Key Fob - far easier to attach to the camera bag !

Although I'm sure the signifigance is already on Phil's radar if there isn't time to organise something for March's event would there be sufficient interest in a Night Photoshoot XXV patch ?

A RBF tag would be great, think most of us already have a load of them on our bags. Patches tend to get bought and then put away somewhere, rather than put on anything.

Phil,

El Centro make patches for their photo calls. I think they have a basic design and just change the lettering to suit which one it’s for.

The booking email has gone out this evening. No prizes for spotting the typo on the date in the text. It will be on March 22nd 2018. The booking list will close on March 8th at the request of the RAFP.

If any one hasn't received the mail and were expecting it, please contact me
Cheers Phil

Why do you think that might be? Could it be because, as you were told over the weekend, this is the CONFIRMED list as we have it? Other aircraft - as you've been told - are invited but are yet to respond.

I don't know why you would post this question on here? If you think others have access to information you don't, then you are wrong. The thread - and therefore those people who've already booked or still to commit to coming - will be updated as and when we receive information.

Easy guys.

AKnott68 - as RuislipRustler has stated, if you have received the booking email, it clearly states that they are awaiting confirmation on a number of possible attendees, and that updates will be posted on this thread - let’s leave it there please.

Quite right. Especially when people are being asked to cough up money, Sadly this event has a history of last minute 'no shows'.

And is this a Northolt-specific problem?

We're at the behest of the operators and weather on the day - as indeed is every event. There's nothing we can do given the lean nature of air arms these days.
