The one and only, resided for some time at Glasgow in the early Eighties, seen here after a wash and brush up prior to being put up for sale. Sadly it's new life down south was cut short with a take off crash at Duxford. The aircraft is dispalyed at the Museum of Berkshire Aviation.

Yes I worked on that aircraft whilst with Aces High, the accident happened when there was an engine failure on take off and instead of the pilot putting it down in the field next door he decided to turn it back to land on the airfield at Duxford and as a result the pilot did make a bit of a mess of the aircraft.

The accident report noted that the pilot recieved a head injury from the accelerometer becoming detached and striking him, which in view of his full recovery can be considered "quite amusing"
