I agree ST, what people forget Jim bowen was a good comedian before bullseye. and i think hes the last one that was living from the old itv series the comedians?

Also apart from his revolutionary theories, Steven Hawkins was also very funny too.

In a strange way, today has been a happy reminder of what a diverse and varied culture we have and we should never take that for granted.

Jim Bowen was no genius and Stephen Hawking no game show host. But I was very sad to hear about both of them. They both contributed to our World in thier own ways.

Professor Steven Hawking - R.I.P. Genius.

Jim Bowen - R.I.P. - Stay out of the black and into the red, nothing in this game for 2 in a bed. Who doesn't mind a bit of Bully.

R,I.P. to both.

Charles Lazarus, founder of the Toys R Us stores, has died, along with the brand he created it would sadly seem.

If his surname is anything to go by we may not have seen the last of him!

Not a zombie. Thankfully he didn't return as one of the walking dead!

He lived in Sapcote so was a common figure around Hinckley and Leicester.
My 1st house was in Burbage and Bill was a common site in our village.
Had a few pints with him on a few dinner times in the Anchor and cross keys.
Think is daughter lived in Burbage.

Not a personality - but our Chocolate Lab passed away yesterday- the day before her 14th birthday.

Very much part of the family and sadly missed.

Very sorry to hear about your dog, however never having been a dog owner, it took me a moment or two to figure out what a Chocolate Lab was.
