Is the Vampire now based at Coventry as it used to be based at North Weald?

Re: Classic Jets at Coventry
Very nice indeed. Number two is indeed ace, even if I personally would have been compelled to wait until the dude wasn't leaning on the aeroplane, or preferably gone from the scene altogether Lovely shots though, and event organisers please note its the daylight shots that are standing out in the last couple of events.
Good to see the Meteor is still in one piece too. Anyone know what the latest is on it?

Re: Classic Jets at Coventry
When timeline events announced the meteor was taking part they said it was leaving for the US a week or so after the event and it would be it's last in the UK.
Lovely photos as said by others number 2 is lovely

Yes the Vampire is currently based at Coventry!
The Meteor T.7 departs for Liverpool on Monday (Wx backup Tuesday), so that it can be shipped to the USA.

Re: Classic Jets at Coventry
Well, Did the Meteor go to Liverpool Monday? Also did the Vampire fly yesterday?
Not sure of runway conditions at Coventry or Liverpool.
