A well written and balanced piece IMHO. I think this may all come down to a lack of experience among the organisers. We know the new CEO has come from a non airshow background. The trade show had it's issues but that is not billed as a flying display, it just happens to have one. Who ever organised the public flying clearly had not been to many events? There were some telling remarks from the new CEO in one of the show papers. Asked if he had been to RIAT he said he had(most probably in a enclosure) but said the shows were aimed at totally different audiences! Not at the weekend its not! If they hav't got the message after this years show sadly they never will!
