Ear defenders are advisable, as the Lightning and Comet (if running) are extremely loud!

Err, and the VC10! Setting car alarms off since 2014.

Hi. Yes it's a great day out. Lots of jet noise, stands selling merchandise and food. Well worth a visit.

I still can't get over the fact about the Victor which went out of control some years ago, due too the co-pilot failing to respond to what he had being briefed to do on take off.

Sounds great - some really amazing machines on display.
Does the Nimrod do high speed runs again?

Probably not yet. The rudder was damaged in a storm a couple of years ago, so is only about half the area it should be, and I know they were having some issues with brake hydralic pressure but that might be fixed by now. It's really great to see the Comet back running again, after several years of technical issues preventing it.
