The Cosby Victory Show 2018.

Post by F575 »

Finally managed to make it back to the Cosby Victory Show; a fantastic weekend of WWII re-enactments and a cracking little airshow to boot. The photos aren't the best but as nobody else has posted any and a few people where asking about how the display line was this year, I figured I'd post a few. Comments & critique welcome!

Cheers! Appreciate that! More at home shooting vehicles that stick to the ground than above it!

Thanks! Sunday for these ones. Saturday was basically the same though, just without Sally-B.

Cheers, was 50/50 whether I went there or OW, I plumped for OW as guaranteed wall to wall blue, but looks like Cosby held nicely as well.

Clear blue skies for both days, though a few clouds wouldn't have gone amiss! It's been a few years since I've managed to get to the show but the re-enactment was good and there's tons of ground vehicles to have a look around. If you're just interested in the aviation side then I dare say a 'proper' airshow would be better to attend but if you like the ground forces side of things too then I can't recommend it enough. Next year should be cracking now they've got the airshow back up and running (flying? ).

Excellent work,
I found it excellent and have been to all of them bar one, at least the airshow line has been improved over the dire ones we got post Shoreham, and last years farce.
