Re: IMPORTANT - Future of UKAR
For me I have found it hard to find a decent forum to join and so far I've really enjoyed the threads here it be a shame for it to go but hopefully it won't.

Which other forum/fora have you joined, and what do you find wrong with it/them?

That's probably because it is a much newer site than UKAR, therefore it has fewer members so far and is civilian only.

Their sister site - http://www.fightercontrol.co.uk is much more active but is Military only.

Oh man.... That brought back memories. Flashbacks now of that horrible Dial up tone for one! The move on to live chat as a test a long long time ago.. Then my first RIAT questions here as RIAT 2001 was going to be my first. UKAR has come a long ways over the years and hopefully it'll continue. Paul I am sorry to hear about you're illness and wish you the best in the future. Regarding UKAR funding. I've been here a long time and would be willing to chip in again to keep it ruining.
Now looking back... Damn! 22 years already I feel old.
