Taitung Taiwan F-5s and a visitor or two.

Post by Fumbles »

Hello everyone.

Many many thank you for the comments on the Japan thread I started last week. This weekend post is Taitung, Taiwan. I was supposed to be in the area for two and a half days, but a very bad train accident happened and I had to leave a day earlier for the return back to Taipei. I really didn't want to miss my flight home and the tracks were messed up real bad. But this was just a scouting trip for a return visit in 2019 back to Taitung and a few other bases.

The shots are kind of samey.... I did have other spots to scope out while there, but again knocking the trip down to one and a half days put an end to that idea. So I got what I could.

As usual, Comments and Criticism always welcome.

Barely worth making the trip I'd say based on that showing
Seriously brilliant selection of different aircraft & views, taken over such a short period. Would love to see results from other locations when you revisit, better still be stood in your shadow!
Please answer this query if able. Are these shot from a location accessible to mere mortals, or was this a personal facility?

These are awesome Rod - great subjects, brilliantly photographed. Brave with the panning shots.

Thank You everyone. Glad you like these and like Japan, I cannot wait to get back to Taiwan in 2019 for all the same reasons as the return to Japan.

The location for these shots was nothing special.... It was a hotel! It had rooftop access with views mainly for the ocean but......... On the reverse side overlooked the base.
