Post by Dr Cake »

A few shots from a high octane trip to Axalp with zigzag and screechy. Warning to purists - I've included a few shockers.

No shockers that I can see

#24 is lovely. As for #32, is it really safe to park your helicopter there...

Lovely set Rich, even with the nose cut off.. loving those shock waves, 2 and 18 really nice but there are plenty of outstanding shots. Thanks again for being part of the epic trip. Pizza anyone?

27 the pick of the bunch for me, just one shot like that was worth all that effort in getting up there

Great set of a great trip

Wonderful set and the 3 different viewpoints helped hugely for the variety.

Enjoyed all of them but 57 and 64 particularly stand out for me-Magnificent

Stunners! Every single one.

I wish mine were half as good, only doing the Wednesday up top and not having any practice sessions didn't help :-(

Yet another terrific set of AXALP photos by Dr. Cake - I can now see why you made the effort to ascend to such a high altitude - it has enabled you to take a great set of photos, looking down on so many of the aircraft.

Yes, numbers 6 and 64 are the 'shockers'.

As the shockers have proved to be of interest, a few more which didn't make the final cut. Normally, I wouldn't subject the sensitive eyes of UKAR to such imagery....
