All of our HM.2s will be fitted with the software and equipment that allows Crowsnest to be compatible, but only 10 can be fitted with the system at a given time.

...each HM2 will have to be withdrawn from service while Leonardo spends around 15 weeks adding wiring and mountings for the Crowsnest kit. Fitting out all 30 aircraft will have to be spread over several years.

Some interesting photos of a US Navy P-8A carrying an LSRS radar. Wonder if we’ve ordered this system for our Poseidons?

Judging by the pedantry in the replies I think a few from this board have already found it!

Canada’s CF-18 scheme for the coming year. Quite plain when considered against recent years.

It's certainly special! I'll be shot down in flames for this but IMHO there's a bit too much going on colourwise with this one, the other 2 I much prefer. :hide:

Agreed, I love the first two but yellow just does not go with the rest of the markings.

Have to agree. As said, Yellow just doesn't work with the rest, particularly the chequered board.

It doesn't really matter if it goes or not, these are the wartime markings that are being commemorated. But yes the yellow is a bit yuk.
