All except the Tutor are displaying Friday night. The Typhoon and BBMF especially will look stunning in the sunset - so fingers crossed for that magic Southport light once again.

What are the chances they will add something completely out of the ordinary and exciting? Really hope so...

Well last year we had the Blenheim, Spitfire pair, Matadors and Shuttleworths Anson so fingers crossed we get something different new and exciting. The Thunderbolt would be great, got my fingers crossed for that.

What a cracking bit of news this is. Its made my day! The prospect of Draken and Viggen in that Southport light is mouth-watering. If we could buy the weather I'd be passing the hat round. Cross everything folks!

(The Gazelle Squadron pair and Southport perennials The Tigers para team were the other two updates btw)

I would think either Blackpool or Liverpool, don't think they would get in at Woodvale.

They have two Drakens on strength. A single and a twin seat. Whether they have two qualified pilots on the other hand...

Indeed, hence my suggestion and the logistics of operating at 2 very separate locations the same weekend.

oh, after being very 'M-eh' at the thought of throwing bucket loads of dosh at attending a (in my mind) lacklustre Fairford, the thought of a Draken and Viggen, plus Typhoon, T-33, etc over the beach at Southport really does enthuse me a lot. I'm in!

Brilliant news today.
Nipped into Blackpool airport today, they are 90% sure the Viggen,Draken & T-33 will be based there for the weekend - along with usual stuff.
