For Yeovilton they said it would be one fast pass and one slow pass which I speculated might mean a hover, haven't seen it listed anywhere it would be anything other than a flypast at RIAT.

Not sunday though - what a pitty I havn't seen one in the flesh yet.
Many people would say you aren't missing much, to be fair I think its an absolute beast though and hopefully you get the chance to see one pal.

Indeed @Ian_Gale. All being well, our F35B “role demo” @airtattoo will involve fast and slow passes, finishing with a decel to hover and pedal turn, before then returning to @RAF_Marham. Should be a great sight for all, and superb opportunity for photos.
By the sounds of it, it will be the same or at least very similar to the ‘Role Demo’ at RIAT in 2016 - few min-radius turns, fast pass and then a hover.

I’m still crossing everything hoping that the bulk of, if not everything involved in the flypast operates from Fairford. Not too optimistic though.
Regarding Yeovilton not getting the same as Fairford re the F-35; probably because the RAF don’t like the Navy very much. “We’ve nicked your aircraft and we won’t let you see them! A couple of your pilots can have a go but they’ve got to come to our house. Oh, and would you sail your new boat to where we want it?”
LONDON – Sweden is set to become the first international partner to join the British “Tempest” sixth-generation fighter program.
An announcement involving the governments and industries of the two nations is expected to be made at the three-day Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) event, which begins July 19 at RAF Fairford, according to industry executives.

Why would they not do the exactly the same for Yeovilton?
Would a role demo need to be signed off before they can perform it in front of a crowd? perhaps it won't be done in time for Yeovilton hence just the flypast and why he said "All being well" in the tweet regarding RIAT?

Is that a change or just that we didn't know which days they were displaying before?
If the former, then some redress for those going Sunday only, but not great if all they've done is pull some Saturday displays to even things up.
Not having a dig (necessarily) but just asking...

Gutted about C27 - but last years display was awful. But Saturdays display has improved with the loss of Tucano and Tutor.
