Assume he means that they are back flying but not at RIAT. Although things can change and they could be.

Considering that’s a change from yesterday, I wouldn’t worry too much just yet. Tomorrow it’ll be different again.

And anyway, even if you take any notice of the BBC forecast (and really, why would you do a thing like that?) at no point does it suggest more than a 24% chance of rain on the Saturday - in other words a 76% chance it will stay dry.

It’s also over a week away. Too far for an accurate forecast.

Look outside on the day for most accuracy!

So he'd rather they stayed grounded until after RIAT, just so no one feels sad that they're not attending?

I'm not sure he really meant that

I used the sad face as its a shame they're back flying now that we're so close to RIAT theres a very unlikely chance they'll attend. Pleasing to hear they are back up in the sky though

That's what I thought

I think I like the idea of 'a very unlikely chance' though...

You should be in journalism with this sort of nonsense. Literally the highest chance of rain was low 24%. How do you get wash out from that??

Very kind of you to say that rdchawk :clown: :clown:

I was just looking at the pictures of rain all day, didn't bother looking at the %age, so sue me ........... :pinkwafer: :pinkwafer:

Besides, when I post on this 'forum' I tend to do it mostly tongue firmly in cheek, so don't take stuff I say quite so seriously

And for those hard of hearing, I did say (although a bit early and bound to change.............)

I know it's Friday afternoon and we're all de-mob happy and getting into airshow party-mode, but can we please keep the thread-drift nonsense to a minimum? Thanks.

The Reds won't be the only ones reaching for the blades if this thread drift continues. :wall:  :ghost:

No it'll be the Zeppelin (aerial version of the Titanic) as I don't think it'll fit in Cotswold water park.
