Permission to remain feeling short changed (compared to Saturday goers).

More than an hour less...great.

Looking at the timetable, aside from the Flanker, Mig and Harriers the Sunday looks very very average.

Also 'Sunday is looking quite thin I know lets whack the US Viper demo on right at the beginning' :wall:

Nope. I quite agree now. Seeing it printed makes it feel definitive now.
Although saying that the blades/Atlas flypast didn't make print. Much more to prove it was put together last minute?

We also are less the PC-9 display now as well. Something that doesn't feel it affects the Saturday as it does the Sunday.

Let's hope something can fill that gap on the Sunday.

It's still a good show but you always want the ice cream you see someone else eating right?

Good point Re: A400M/Blades flypast.

Strange that it isn’t mentioned at all on the programme.

I’m assuming he’s not posted the other page for Sunday....

Could bite them on the b*m next year, when fewer Friday & Sunday tickets are sold than this year

On the bright side, could it leave item the possibility of a RAFAT/Harriers flypast on Sunday I wonder?

On the less bright side, how come they've not bothered announcing the 3x F-16 flypast for Saturday, given that they've known about it presumably at least as long as they've known about the A400m/Blades flypast?

That's a really good point. They probably feared (another) backlash. Rightly so IMO.

Looking at the Saturday timetable, see the Mig-21, SU-27 and F35 all after 17:00, guess a lot will miss out who leave early to avoid the traffic jams.

Indeed. Just another addition to the long list of bizarre marketing choices this year.

Odd question... I recall registering for some free gift from the red arrows ( i think) , that you had to collect at the show. But I cant remember where i saw the link on here, or Facebook. Ring any bells with anybody else ?

Do you mean the £10 voucher they were giving away if you bought a Friday ticket?

If so, it came as a separate PDF file to your tickets in an email.

It can be used to purchase something from the RIAT merchandise stand on Friday only.

Was it the long 'remove before flight' type keyring?

They said they will send an email out the day before show with a voucher for everyone.

Choices were Reds, Tornado, Vulcan and one other I can't remember.

Anyone know why the F-35 isn't diplaying on Sunday?

Got a feeling the F16 Viper team have something up their sleeve.

'You're going to see a show like you've never seen before'.

Maybe i'm looking too much into it and its just the OTT American build up that they're just referring to not being in the UK since 2005 so not many of the UK public would not have seen it.

Because its due to display on Friday and Saturday.
Operational commitments can be my only guess.

Ha! Good one

Y'know what, I'm predicting that the wonderful Sunday flypast doesn't even happen.

Still looking forward to it etc etc, but I feel a bit like I've paid for a theatre ticket but am being told I have to leave before the final act.

Unsure if this has been mentioned previously, but it appears the Royal Norwegian Air Force have snuck into the NATO flypast with a single F-16AM/BM

I'd make a guess at crew availability but wondered if anyone had any knowledge, especially as there seems to be a deficit for Sunday attendees compared with the day before. At least Sunday has the least wet weather... at the moment... although I hear that Saturday is trying to bag that too.

I really, really, really hope that there’s an awesome unannounced flypast that takes place just so you’re cheered up a bit, Chris. You’re starting to drag me down too!

The stickers must have fell off the A400M on the way here? No markings on it apart from the registration (EC-400)...
