Post by Blackbird »

Saw this overflying during the Military Show. Is it a Dreamliner?

yes it's a TUI B.787 aka Dreamliner. Probably heading into Luton or out of Stansted depending on it's direction.

I had a brief look on FR playback but couldn't find a TUI 787 in that area at that time to confirm it's destination or i.d. . Your photo info says it was taken as 16.26 on 7th, is your date /time info correct pls?

It looks more like a Boeing 757 to me - wingtips, especially, and the back of the engines are smooth edges.

yes I've just realised that now Alisdair, I didn't look close enough. AND it shows on FR24 G-OOBA inbound to Luton from Arrecife

apologies guys - I was a bit too hasty and not observant enough (it's early for me!).

I'd say that it's a 757 as it doesn't have the zig-zag bits at the rear of the engines.

Edit :- Too late as usual !
