Preserved aircraft in Scotland

Post by EGLL »

Yesterday I overflew a fairly large aircraft outside a hangar or shed about ten minutes to the south of Glasgow Airport. Any ideas?

Depends what they were flying in and how fast. 500mph is 83 miles in 10 minutes, so not far away? If they were in a Cessna 172 no chance

Solway has multiple aircraft outside and poster says a fairly large aircraft not mentioning multiples, so maybe not..... :dunno:

I was on a BA A320 flight. The aircraft looked like a DC-4 or similar and was on it's own.
