Rugby World Cup 2019
Anyone been watching the Rugby World Cup? I have watched a few of the games not all but I'm always watching The Scotland games.

Watched / listened to several of them, but the only UK one I watched was the Scotland-Samoa one ( and I was disappointed, I wanted Samoa to win )
A lot of the games between the 'lesser' teams have been absolutely cracking.

Well at least we Scots now know what we need to do... beat Japan and ensure that they don't pick up a losing bp (or win with a bp by scoring four or more tries).
So no pressure then...

Such a great game.

0-0 Eng vs Fra
Well that wasn't the most exciting game I've ever seen...

With just the slightest bit of finesse, I might have made a little less mess.

My son has gone to Japan for the England v France game - fortunately he is also touring around a bit and has quarter final tickets as well.

Nah, we wanted it played. Going out on a weather-related technicality would have been genuinely absurd.
Congratulations to Japan, wonderful performance and a truly epic match. Their achievement got the spectacle it deserved.

Didn't get a chance to see the game but felt sorry for Ireland(I'm in Ireland at the moment and would have liked to have seen them win) & Japan this weekend.

Wonder if Wales have booked their flight home yet?
If that was supposed to be their first team, maybe they should stick to picking the second-stringers instead.

England won?
You'd never have guessed that with the complete lack on news coverage of it ( especially on the BBC )

As nobody else has said it....
Bad luck, England.
I was really hoping they'd make a better show of it than Wales did against NZ, especially as Wales had come so close to beating the Saffers last weekend.
