KittyHawk 1/48 Jaguar T.2

Post by DerekF »

Another Cold War jet. This is Kittyhawk's Jaguar T.2, always the nicest looking trainer version of any single seat aircraft.
Not the easiest kit to make, in fact it is overengineered in many places, consequently fit can be iffy at times. It's finished as XX836 "AZ" of 14Sqn in the late 1970s. Decals from many sources as the kit decals weren't great.
I had/have difficulty in getting the cockpit canopies to stay open. I'll have to work out a remedy later.

Another good job on a cracking looking aircraft. The light grey undersides was a good look for the Jaguar.

Very nice, I've always thought that the 2-seater looks like a baby TSR.2!

Excellent build! I have always wondered about this kit. Kittyhawk being such hit and miss and not just in the instructions either.
